Anonymous asked: Does your medusa jewelry ever fall under your teeth and pull or become uncomfortable? And does it rub against your gums? I'm sorry to also ask this but could you give me some pros and cons of having it?
It does only now because the bar is too long now that it’s healed. When I got it pierced the bar was made sure it was long enough to accommodate swelling. It never got stuck until all the swelling had completely gone away so i’m quite sure it will be fine again once I get shorter jewellery.
When it catches on my teeth it makes me jump but it’s not really from pain or anything, I just forget it’s there. I move it back and i’m fine.
I can hardly feel it otherwise, it doesn’t rub against my gums. Ive had zero problems with it hurting or being uncomfortable. I’ve heard people say it would hurt my teeth but it’s never harmed my teeth in the slightest. Even getting caught it’s just a weird feeling because my lip is pulled down.
Pros: It’s a beautiful piercing. My favourite on myself, also on other people. I think it suits anybody. It’s easy to take care of healed. Aftercare was simple. It doesn’t bother me and I can’t feel it. I felt well enough to go school right after I got it pierced. It’s amazing and I plan to keep it for a long time.
Cons; The swelling for a little while after. I bruised a tiny bit on the inside of my mouth, though that healed within two days. Pain for one second. Aftercare was 100% necessary. Tiny scar.
Don’t say sorry i’m trying to think of everything I can tell you about it. I hope i’m helpful in some way and feel free to ask me anything you can think of! xo
